The Man Who is Licked by The Cat

Başarılı bir yazar o. Onu ilk olarak Instagram'da yarattığı şehir domatesi serüvenleri ile tanıdık. Çok büyük kitlelere ulaşmamış olsa da sadık bir hayran kitlesi oluşturdu kendisine. Pınar ile yarattığı karakterlerden, gündelik hayata, motivasyondan gelecekteki planlarına tatlı bir sohbet yaptık.

Bence sen bu ülkede son zamanlarda çıkmış en yaratıcı insanlardan birisin. Hepimizin hayatının bir parçası olan ve çoğumuzun sevdiği domatesi alıp bir hikaye kahramanı yaptın. Bu yaratıcılık değil de nedir ?

- Gündelik hayatta karşılaştığımız, tanıdığımız kişileri hikayenin karakteri yapabilirdim. Şimdiye kadar yazılmış sayısız güzel eser var karakterleri insan olan. Ben bunun yerine farklı bir yaklaşım ile kendime ana karakter olarak bir domatesi seçtim. Ana karakter haricinde herşey günlük hayattan çıkma. Çevredeki insanlar, hayvanlar, mekanlar hep gerçek. Domates te gerçek. Tıpkı senin benim gibi onun da fikirleri var, o da konuşuyor. Tek farkı domates olması.

Son görüştüğümüzde şehir domatesini yeni yaratmıştın. Henüz birkaç yüz takipçin vardı Instagram'da 

- Ya işte, o karakter büyüdü, gelişti ve geniş kitlelere ulaştı. Onun da bir geçmişi, tercihleri ve kişiliği var. Şimdi maceradan maceraya koşuyor.

İnsanın kafasında pek çok soru geliyor. 

- Evet projeye ilk başladığımda da sormuştun, her gittiğin yere domates taşımak zor olmuyor mu diye. Kışın domastesi nereden bulduğumu da sorduğunu hatırlıyorum. Evet görebiliyorum bunlar ilk akla gelen sorular. Ama emin ol ki bu tür konular sorun olmaktan ziyade yaratıcılığı destekleyen şeyler.

Peki, ben de biraz yaratıcı sorular sormaya çalışayım. Konuşuyor musun domatesin ile ? Yanında olmadığında özlüyor musun ?

- Evet kesinlikle bir karakteri var domatesimin. Tercihleri var. Hayvanları çok sever mesela. Çok uyumludur. Ben ne yersem o da bana uyar. Her ne kadar şehir domatesi olsa da deniz kenarında gezmeyi, parklarda vakit geçirmeyi çok sever.

İnsanlar ile arası nasıl peki ? Başkalarıyla muhabbet etmeyi sever mi ?

- İnsanlarla bir sorunu yok kesinlikle. Ama genelde benden başkasıyla konuşmayı pek istemez. Sakin bir karakteri var. İçe kapanık demek istemiyorum ama kalabalık gürültü pek hoşuna gitmez.

Yaratıcılık sürecinden bahseder misin biraz ? Fikirleri nasıl üretiyorsun ?

- Bu sorunun basit ve net bir cevabı yok maalesef. Açık konuşmam gerekiyorsa tam olarak nasıl tarif edebileceğimi ben bile bilemiyorum. Yaratmak, yani fikir üretmek büyülü bir süreç. Gezerken, düşünürken, deniz kenarında otururken, metro beklerken bir anda geliveriyor. Çok basit bir düzenim var. Tüm resimleri cep telefonum ile çekiyorum. Üzerinde pek çalışma ihtiyacı hissetmiyorum. Çok planlı programlı değilim yani. Fikri bulmam ile paylaşmam arasında çok az zaman geçiyor.

Yeni bir ortak proje üzerinde çalıştığınan ve bu proje ile ilgili oldukça heyecanlı olduğundan bahsetmiştin. Biliyorum şu anda detayları paylaşmak istemiyorsun ama bize biraz teaser verebilir misin ?

- Teaser mı ? Bu kelimeyi lütfen bir daha kullanma ! Şaka yaptım. Ama kullanmazsan sevinirim. Neyse, evet yeni bir işbirliği içindeyiz. Detayları paylaşmak için henüz erken. Herşey çok taze ama oldukça hızlı yol alıyoruz.

Nasıl bir ekip bu ? Projenin formatı nedir ?

- Şansını çok zorluyorsun. Ekip değil. İki kişiyiz sadece. Benim gibi yaratıcı projeleri olan birisi ile çalışıyoruz. Üretim sürecimiz, motivasyonlarımız biraz farklı ama iyi bir ekip olduğumuzu düşünüyorum. Bir arkadaş ortamında ilk tanıştığımızda biraz muhabbet ettik. Sonrasında karşılıklı fikirler gelip gitmeye başladı. Kısa zamanda gördük ki ortaya çıkan fikirler, ikimizin toplamından daha büyük.

Kendine benzeyen birini buldun yani

- Hem evet hem de hayır. Evet o da yaratıcı bir insan. Ama motivasyonu ve yaratma süreci benimkine göre biraz farklı. O bana göre daha planlı. Kurguya daha çok önem veriyor. Ben parçaları oluşturuyorum, o da bu parçaları yaratıcı şekilde birbirlerine bağlıyor. Ne yapmaya çalıştığını ne anlatmak istediğini bazen anlamakta zorlanıyorum ama işi bitirip kenara koyduğumuzda "evet anlatmak istediği buymuş" diyorum bazen. Benim ürettiğim fikri bana öyle bir satıyor ki bazen ben bile ortaya çıkan sonuca şaşırıyorum.

Keyifli bir ortaklığa benziyor. Biliyorum şu anda çalıştığınız projeden bahsetmeyeceksin ama en azından ilk çalışmanızdan bahseder misin ?

- Evet onu anlatabilirim. İlk tanıştığımız gün şehir domatesini ona gösterdiğimde çok hoşuna gitmişti. Birkaç gün sonra bana döndü ve şehir domatesi fikrinden bir kısa film yapmak istediğini söyledi.

Evet sanırım Acı Biber filminden bahsediyorsun. Bu projeyi tek başına yaptığını zannediyordum.

- Hayır, bu ortak bir projeydi. İlk kısa film denemem oldu. Filmdeki biber, bizi tanıştıran arkadaşımız. Soyadı biber. Ben şehir domatesinden bahsederken o yanına biber de ekleyip film senaryosunu kafasında yazmaya başlamış bile. Bir araya geldiğimizde senaryo çok değişti ama ortaya çok keyifli bir çalışma koyduk.

Yeni projenizin ortaya çıkmasını sabırsızlıkla bekliyoruz.

- Çok yakında.

I would like to introduce you to the H Gang.

They are all responsible for this to happen, and also inspire me to write about their story.




This is Mr. Black. As you can guess, this is not his real name. And you can tell he is not that creative either. He never talks about this but I suspect he got his name from the movie where a bunch of gangsters gather for a big score. Nobody uses their real names, so everybody got a color as an alias. I myself am a big fan of Tarantino's work and like to think that Mr. Black and I share similar tastes. He is quite a character and I admit that I sometimes find myself quoting his words or mimicking his moves. Yes I am a fan of Mr. Black...

Unlike the characters from Tarantino's movies, he rarely talks. You always see him sitting without moving at all. If you see him on his feet, he is either going to the kitchen to get some food, or to the bathroom. His wisdom should be coming from the energy he saves while lying around all day long.

All the gang members where here for years. He has been around at most 3 months but everything started changing after he showed up. Other guys didn't even notice eachother for all these years but once he stepped in, he saw the connection between them and showed each of them that they are all a part of a big unity.




Mike is the first one who showed up. He must be around this place at least for 15 years and maybe even more than that. He was a hard tempered guy and boy he was tough. People would be unconfortable, even scared when he was around. He is not that big but the fire he has, he could go head to head with anyone who would dare to stand in front of him. And he would probably take them down in an heartbeat. Nowadays he is definately not that agresive but he still has it in his veins pumping. I guess as the years went by, he started to use his brain, but you know you never really change. He is still a trouble maker.



Kenny almost seems like he has nothing to do or nothing in common with others. He always has some ideas in his mind but never turns those ideas into action. He works at a daytime job, but not as a cover. I don't like to think that he does it for the money, so let's say he likes the simplicity of a daily life, or maybe he does this to kill time because he has nothing else to do.




R100TX is without a doubt the brain power of the organization. Or should we say sheer intelligence. But intrestingly enough he thinks himself as a tough guy like Mike. Apart from extra 2 eyes on his head, he is so small that nobody would turn their head around and notice him being there. He knows this, and gets angry and angry everyday for people not noticing him. It is pretty obvious where his anger comes from. You know, a man has to compensate for his smaller parts, and in the case of TX, he has to compensate a lot. He adapted to living on the earth as well as people around him. Yes, he still gets strange looks from people passing by, but you never hear him talking about fusion energy or stuff, you know all the high tech mumbo jumbo from where he came from.




This is one of the rare moments where all four come together. Because they rarely have to. Mr. Black is more than the brain of this gang. I don't know what it is but to me he seems like reading people's minds or better, see the future. He always says the right thing at the right time, and seems like he know things happening before they happen. This may be another reason why he never moves, because everying comes to him, when he needs it.

All the qualities of Mr. Black is exactly opposite of what Kenny has. He is always overwhelmed, frustrated because nothing turns out as he wants it to be. Yes he is clever, yes he has his own powers but to be honest I never understood why Mr. Black keeps him around.

I never think about this but now I realized that R100TX is the opposite of Mike, just like Mr. Black is what Kenny doesn't or can't have. But this polarity between the TX and Mike brings some advantages. One is the muscle while the other is the driver. One is raw power while the other is intelligence. And intrestingly enough deep inside TX wants to be like, or look like Mike. But Mike is your standart, run-of-the-mill ignorant bastard.

So, here we are, The H Gang. Each member is a story by himself, but the real story begins when they come together.
